I would love to collaborate! Neilsonb00@gmail.com

Early on in college I found myself evading the chemistry lab in search for the dry granite of Leavenworth, WA. On one of my early trips to the dry side of the Cascades I picked up my friends full frame Canon 5D, fixed with a 24mm f/1.4 Sigma lens and peered into it. I opened it wide up, framed my friend making a long move on the boulder and clicked down the shutter. That simple action completely changed the trajectory of my life. My first look through this eye opening, creative inspiring glass changed the way I viewed the world.  Looking through the lens and allowing the light to stain the sensor ignited a creativity in me that I haven't found anywhere else. The simple act of framing a shot could make a climb look big, or small, control of the shutter could change the speed or even stop movement, and aperture could dictate the viewers focus.  The camera became a tool to stage a scene, to capture emotion, energy, and character. I did all I could to get my hands on a DSLR to harness and explore my new found creativity. I now travel with sole purpose to share and tell stories and to inspire and ignite creativity with passionate imagery!
